Safety Statement

This Safety Statement provides general guidance for kitchen tools and food-preparation accessories sold by Kiyzi. Always review the information supplied with the specific product.

Before use

• Check the product, packaging and included components after delivery.
• Do not use an item that is cracked, bent, loose, unusually sharp at an unintended edge or otherwise damaged.
• Wash food-contact surfaces before first use and after use, following any product-specific care instructions.

Kitchen utensil safety

• Use each utensil only for its intended kitchen purpose.
• Serving forks and utensil edges can cause injury if handled carelessly. Keep them out of reach of children.
• Metal utensils can become hot near cookware or heat sources. Use suitable protection and do not leave handles over heat.
• Do not expose a product directly to flame or use it in an oven, microwave or dishwasher unless the product page or supplied instructions expressly state that the use is suitable.

Chopping board safety

• Place the board on a clean, dry and stable surface before use.
• Ensure any fitted grip or silicone pads are correctly positioned before cutting.
• Use an appropriate cutting technique and keep hands clear of blades.
• Stop using the board if it becomes unstable or materially damaged.

Children

These kitchen products are not toys. Children should use kitchen tools only with appropriate adult supervision.

If a product arrives damaged, appears unsafe or causes concern, stop using it and contact info@kiyzi.com with the order number, a description and clear photos. This statement does not limit rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
